The HB Torque HB-AE04-P04 helps operators select the required screwdriver bit in manual and semi-automatic fastening stations. Four independent detection positions, LED pick guidance and 24V DC PNP digital signals support a PLC-controlled assembly sequence.
Important: This model is a screwdriver bit selector, not a socket selector. The maximum supported bit outside diameter is 8 mm. Please confirm your bit dimensions before ordering.

How Bit Selection Works
- Ready: The station detects the bits in their designated positions.
- Guide: The external PLC requests the required bit position; the indicator guides the operator.
- Verify: Removing the selected bit produces feedback for the control sequence. An incorrectly selected bit can be rejected by the configured PLC logic.
- Return and reset: The operator returns the bit and completes the configured reset sequence before the next cycle.

The selector provides bit-position feedback; it does not independently measure tightening torque or store production records.
