Engineered-to-order direct-drive tightening workstation. HB Torque integrates a project-selected inline electric nutrunner with a rigid torque-reaction arm, rigid tool clamp, controller, custom fixture and production-data functions for the application.

This page represents a complete engineered workstation—not a stand-alone tightening tool. The final tool model, reaction structure, controller and fixture are selected from the required torque, joint geometry, fastening direction, bolt coordinates, access and cycle time.

Direct-Drive Tightening Workstation Integration Scope

  • Project-selected direct-drive inline nutrunner and tightening controller
  • Rigid articulated torque-reaction arm and rigid tool clamp
  • Bench, frame or line-side workstation structure
  • Custom workpiece fixture and fastening-position access
  • Optional position guidance, barcode, PLC and MES/data integration

Controlled Fastening Capabilities

  • Programmed torque and angle control, subject to the selected tool and controller
  • Repeatable fastening processes with clear OK/NOK result verification
  • Tightening-result traceability and production-record connectivity
  • Application-specific reaction support for consistent operator-guided positioning

ESTIC Handy 2000 Compatibility

HB Torque can engineer workstation integration around compatible ESTIC Handy 2000 direct-drive tools when specified. Tool compatibility, controller functions, torque range and interfaces are verified for each project.

HB Torque is an independent systems integrator and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorized distributor of ESTIC. The ESTIC name is used solely to identify potential equipment compatibility.

Engineering Information Required for Quotation

  • Preferred tool model and target/maximum torque
  • Joint details, bolt size, count, coordinates and tightening sequence
  • Tool orientation, access direction and available working envelope
  • Workpiece drawings and fixture requirements
  • Cycle time and required barcode, PLC, MES or data interfaces

Each workstation is engineered to order. No fixed configuration, included-item package or price is represented on this page.

Compare Tightening Workstation Configurations

Compare this rigid-reaction direct-drive configuration with the pulse tightening workstation for a different operator-guided fastening approach, or the micro fastening workstation for small screws and compact precision assemblies.
