Request an Engineering Review
Send your workpiece, tightening-tool or process details. Our team will review torque, reach, movement, positioning and traceability requirements.
DRA position-guided desktop tightening workstation: HB Torque engineers the reaction arm, fastening tool support, workpiece fixture and process controls as one coordinated assembly station.
Compatibility and scope: This listing is for an HB Torque engineered workstation, not a standalone FAZIO reaction arm or tightening tool. Third-party tools may be customer-supplied or project-selected. FAZIO names identify the intended integration application only; no affiliation, authorization or endorsement is implied.
Prevent torque reaction and tightening-sequence errors
The DRA workstation absorbs tool reaction torque and helps operators keep the socket aligned. Optional position sensing links arm location to the fastening program so the station can guide bolt order, prevent missed positions and confirm each tightening result before moving on.
DRA-F or DRA-L configuration
- DRA-F folding arm: compact articulated reach for 5–100 Nm desktop applications.
- DRA-L linear arm: straight guided travel for 5–1000 Nm applications and larger working envelopes.
- Final arm selection follows the actual tool weight, maximum torque, tightening direction, reach and fixture geometry.
Integrated workstation scope
- Application-selected DRA reaction arm and mounting structure
- Electric or pneumatic tightening-tool integration
- Workbench, workpiece fixture and socket-access design
- Balancer, brakes, encoders or position sensing as required
- Barcode, vision, industrial-PC and controller integration by project
- OK/NG signal, tightening-data collection and MES connectivity where specified
Position-guided assembly workflow
Position → Tighten → Verify → Record. The operator moves the supported tool to the prompted fastener. The station checks position, enables the tightening step, evaluates the result and records process data when traceability is included.
Information required for quotation
- Tool brand/model, weight and electric or pneumatic type
- Target torque, maximum torque and torque range
- Vertical, horizontal or angled tightening orientation
- Required reach, bolt pattern and part dimensions
- Workbench dimensions and mounting constraints
- Sequence-control, barcode, vision and data requirements
Every workstation is engineered to order; no fixed tool, arm model or accessory package is assumed until the application is reviewed.
Compare reaction-arm workstation options
Consider the CRA carbon reaction arm workstation for lightweight extended reach, or the TRA track-mounted reaction arm workstation for guided multi-position fastening.
