HB Torque Roll & Reel Handling Industrial Manipulator | Core-Gripping Coil Lifter

Engineered roll and reel handling system with internal core gripping. The HB Torque roll-handling manipulator uses an articulated assisted-lifting arm and application-specific expanding mandrel to help an operator pick up, lift, orient and accurately position bulky cylindrical rolls.

This is a complete material-handling solution—not a generic lifting arm. The manipulator, core-gripping tooling, rotation function, controls and workstation layout are engineered from the real roll geometry and production process.

Expanding Core Mandrel Tooling

The gripping mandrel is selected from the roll weight, core diameter, core strength, width and required orientation. The mandrel must enter and support the core correctly before the roll is lifted. Alternative tooling can be evaluated when the core cannot be used safely for gripping.
