DRA-F Folding Desktop Torque Reaction Arm
The GAMITT DRA-F Series is a compact bench-mounted folding torque reaction arm for powered industrial fastening. Its articulated two-section layout folds around the workpiece, helping the operator reach bolt positions in different directions while transferring reaction torque into the arm and workstation structure.

Folding Movement for Compact Workstations
- Two-section arm folds through the elbow joint for flexible access and compact retraction.
- 120-degree elbow movement helps reach bolt positions around the workpiece.
- The overhead equalizer supports the tightening tool and reduces handling effort.
- The arm structure absorbs reaction torque during powered fastening.
- The tool holder and control handle are selected or designed to match the actual tightening tool.
DRA-F or DRA-L?
Choose DRA-F for compact retraction and multi-direction access around a workpiece. Choose the DRA-L linear arm when the process follows a straight cross-travel path or a linear bolt pattern. Final selection must also consider torque, tool weight and station geometry.
Typical Applications
Compact automotive and machinery assembly, appliance production, gearbox and component fastening, and other bench processes where bolt positions require flexible approach angles within a limited workstation footprint.

Frequently Asked Questions
What torque range does the DRA-F Series cover?
The five-model range covers maximum torque capacities from 5 Nm to 100 Nm.
How does the folding structure help?
The articulated arm can extend, change working angle and retract more compactly than a straight linear layout, making it suitable for bolt positions distributed around a smaller workpiece.
Is the tightening tool included?
The DRA-F system is configured around the customer's specified powered tightening tool. The tool holder and control handle are selected or designed separately to match the tool model.
How do I choose between DRA-F and DRA-L?
Use DRA-F for folding, multi-direction access. Use DRA-L for controlled straight cross travel and linear fastening patterns. Compare maximum torque, tool load and working envelope before selecting.
