DRA-L Linear Stretching Desktop Torque Reaction Arm

The GAMITT DRA-L Series is a bench-mounted linear torque reaction arm for powered industrial fastening. Its straight horizontal guide provides controlled cross travel between fastening positions, while the overhead equalizer supports the tightening tool. Reaction torque is transferred into the arm and workbench structure instead of the operator.

How the Linear Architecture Works

  • Straight horizontal movement suits rows of bolts and predictable fastening paths.
  • The guide structure controls tool travel and absorbs tightening reaction torque.
  • An overhead spring equalizer supports the tool and reduces handling effort.
  • The compact bench-mounted base integrates into a dedicated assembly workstation.
  • The tool holder and control handle are selected or designed to match the actual tightening tool.

Typical Applications

Automotive and machinery subassembly, battery and electrical assembly, appliance production, flange or manifold fastening, and other bench processes with linear or repeatable multi-bolt patterns.

How to Select a DRA-L Model

Select capacity above the application's maximum tightening torque, then verify the tightening-tool weight, required cross travel, vertical stroke, coverage and available workstation height. The tool interface must also match the tool body and output orientation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What torque range does the DRA-L Series cover?

The nine-model range covers maximum torque capacities from 5 Nm to 1000 Nm.

What is the difference between DRA-L and DRA-F?

DRA-L uses a straight linear guide for controlled cross travel. DRA-F uses a folding articulated layout for access around a compact working envelope.

Is the tightening tool included?

The DRA-L system is engineered around the customer's specified powered tool. The tool holder and control handle are selected or manufactured separately to match that tool model.

Which details determine the correct model?

Maximum torque, tool weight, bolt pattern, cross travel, vertical stroke, coverage, workstation height and mounting space all affect selection.
